    Hi all,

I use form5 and I have group+runnint no. represent item no.
Ex. aaaa0011. I create sequence name 'aaaa' and set item# : ='aaaa'||aaaa.nextval if new member. but the group can increase in runtime from if user need to define, then I should have sequence xxxx to control running no.

How I create a sequence on run time form which sequence name is group name which user add up.

You can create objects in database during a Forms-program execution using the Forms_DDL package (check the Forms built-in help for more details and examples).
