Has anyone ever installed Oracle on an NT workstation? I have a PC running windows NT and I am trying to install Oracle on it but I am running into problems. Oracle enterprise installed okay but the Oracle Management Console did not. Any suggestions?

    3/2/01 UPDATE:

I tried to reinstall Oracle Enterprise. It was the one that did not install correctly. I received the following error messages:

Ora-00101: Invalid Specification for system parameters MTS _Dispatcher

    Ora-00102: Network Protocal (address=(partial=yes)(protocal=tcp))

    Ora-01034: Oracle not available

I think my problem is with the MTS parameters but I am not sure what or how to correct it.

You sure can install Enterprise edition on NT.

The Oracle Enterprise manager has to be located on a different home. Use OFA procedures.

Like Sam said, what are the errors?
