Thread: Oracle Apps. Order Entry Problem

    Hi Guys...

    Here is my problem. I am running Oracle Apps. and I can able to use General Ludger and payables etc. But when I am using Order Entry, the responsibility is Super User, I get the following error message.

    APP-17266: Could not open connection to Order Entry Transaction Manager OEORPC - adshe03he030c.

    Verify that the server name is in tnsnames.ora.

    Make sure the listner for the server is up and running.

    Contact your System Manager and provide complete details on how you reached this internal exception

    Give me some solution to do some important work on Order Entry. Matter is most Urgent

    Thumbs up solution for order entry porblem.........

    Edit the file SID.trm file add this line

    OEORPC_SID = (DESCRIPTION=
    (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=HOSTNAME)(PORT=PORTNUMBER))
    (CONNECT_DATA=(SID=OEORPC))
    )

    lOGON TO THE APPLICATION GO THRU THIS NAVIGATION

    SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION
    PROFILES
    SYSTEM
    find this
    APPLICATION: ORACLE ORDER ENTRY
    PROFILE : OE:TRANSACTION MANAGER

    (change this value to OEORPC_SID)

    Hi Ali..

    Thanks but I could not find any files with extension of trm

    SID.trm in my case vd11.trm.

    please throw me more light on this subject

    Hi ali,
    I tried with SID.tsr file and edited accordingly.

    Then I changed in the profiles.

    In the application I wrote Oracle Order Entry
    In the Profiles I typed the value OEORPC_SID

    I need more details please

    Hi ali,

    After all the debug and with my prev. experiance I managed your approach then I finally got another type of error and I retyped the same to u. Pl. go thru' and try to help me out.

    APP-17274: Internal Exception in network communications layer. In routine ncrospi with error code 2. Contact your Oracle Support Representative and provide complete details on how you reached this internal exception.
