Recently i setup a HP-UNIX 11.0 server and moved some databases from Old HP-UNIX 10.X. We have a web server in
CA and we set up the new server at the same place, But the old Unix box resides in COLORADO. Previosly our application are slow because of lan traffic but now the speed is good. I checked the TNSPING SID on the two boxes and the new one is 4 times better when compare to the old one. I am trying to take some Statistics on the both boxes, Any body have any idea on this. I want to check the access speed and performance so give me some ideas. Thanks.

To get the statistics on the database, you can use the statspack utility provided by oracle. it is available at
    $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/statspack.doc

    Good luck
