Does anybody have a stored procedure or package which will take a SQL statement and then format it so it looks nice?

No, but PL/Formatter does a real nice job. It is a stand-alone product and can also be integrated into SQL-Station and TOAD.

Yeah, what I'm looking for is some code that will do the parsing so EZSQL (www.ezsql.net) can compete better with those guys! I know I am beating those guys on price, and I am also beating them certain features, but I code formatting is one area that TOAD still has me beat.

If anyone is so inclined to write a SQL formatter, I will pay them for it. I am just so short on time lately that I don't want to do it myself.

    Hmmmm.....

Let me know your e-mail. Mine is chrisrlong@hotmail.com.

I am working on a database utility myself. Mine is very niche-based and performance-related, so I doubt there will be any overlap. However, I may well be writing a SQL formatter as part of it. We should keep in touch about this.
