iAS database requirement?

Hi all,
I have an opportunity to setup 9iAS and DS816 on a HP-UX machine. After reading the installation guide, I recognize that a database must be created before setup the iAS. But it didn't mention about the database requirement such as tablespace, size and its option components (Time series, spatial, intermedia.....). I try to find the answer from oracle website but I couldn't. Would you mind give me some ideas?

I choose the Typical Installation for the database. It works fine.

IAS is the web server.
Depending on what mod you want to use will determine
your database. If youe delpoying java out of the database using mod_ose, you'll need 8.1.7 with Jserver option installed.
Portal requires at least 8.1.6.2 with the Jserver option, but I would install 8.1.7

I believe only 8.1.6 is certified.
If you only using mod_plsql then 8.1.5 should work.
However mod_jserv and mod_ose require 8.1.7 for 9iAS.
Also for portal, you need the EE for 8.1.6. 8.1.7 allows you to use the Std. Edition....
