Thread: DBA Studio and Archive Logs

    Our archive log files get deleted by a cron job after they are a week old. Why do they continue to show up in DBA studio under Storage/Archive Logs and how can I delete them?

    may be dba studio is getting the info from v$archived_log, well actually it must be from there since I dont know any other view that gives archived log information
    plus crontab deletes the archived logs from OS, it's like you delete a datafile in OS that forms a tablespace but in dba_tablespaces you still see it there... unless you issue a command to drop the tablespace, a command at database level.
