getting errors in the the laert log when trying to transfer to standby database on remote machine.
Any ideas, I've started the standby database up in read only mode and connected throught sqlnet from the primary. That works, is it something to do with RFS????

There may be a problem with Net8 connection. might have been disconnected

I've tried doing this at various times of the day, I can tnsping the database service from the primary. The net8 service looks fine. It looks like it doesn't want to move the files across even though it can connect through the service.

Hi,
Error 3114 points at loss of network connection. Please check your N/W. You can copy 5614 and apply to standby and catch up with production. Subsequently it should work properly as long as the connection is OK.
