    Question

    Dear All,

I have question about Rollback Segment.
Rollback Segment should create to read consistency. I try one but the error is “cannot create rollback on this tablespace”
RGLSPCE is my tablespace and I create two 20M datafiles on it with empty, no any table.

How can I create rollback segment?

And I have question about diskstrip.
I read my book about performance of database I/O. I can use diskstrip, easy way to loadbalanceing. How I do?

Distributing I/0 across filesystems is Diskstriping.

    you have c/d/e drives say.

Keep your data in C and index in D and rollback in E like that, which gives the efficient I/O as there will not be I/o Contention on the file systems.

If you proper syntax, you should be able to create Rollback segement. Post your syntax and error message you got, someone try telling you what the problem was.

Your extent size and minextents combination may be in such a way that the existing space in that tablespace might not be sufficient. Please try reducing them.
