Hi All,

Please advise me if you can on the following books. I already have "Expert Oracle Database Architecture" but want to know is it worth buying the "Oracle Core: Essential Internals for DBAs and Developers" please advise.

What is the difference between:

While they are all talented authors, both books are 5 years old. Both books predate Oracle 12c. Therefore neither book is current with Oracle technology. While much of the information is still relevant, there is also information that if they were written today would be needed to cover the topics fully. Hence, you may want to find more recent books to look at.
