Store All Blocking Session in a Table
i have serious problem , i work with oracle production database(7TB). i will use Monitoring window to see the locks. my problem is to store all the blocking session in to a table so that i can analyze the session. i dont want to use audit concepts if any solution thing like trigger so that i will execute the script for every block and get the details of session (like program name, module name ) i want and store the result in a table then my manager able to analysis the data.
i want to track all the locks in oracle db automatically
Please help me in this.
you can always have a process monitoring v$lock, selecting from it whatever kind of locks you want to "monitor" then join to v$session, etc. to get further details and store such data into a table.
