    Storing RMAN backup files

    Hi,
I am backing up a database with RMAN (full backup once a week and daily incremental backups).
The database is in archivelog mode and the hot backup is performed the database, the control file, spfile and archivelogs.
The backup is performed on the flash_recovery_area (FRA). My question is if the backup files generated by RMAN, you can easily copy to another media for backup. For example, to another disk (with "cp" comand, p.e.) or tape through Networker. If I had to recover these files to the FRA for a restoration of posterior BD, would struggle to recover the database?

    Thanks

Yes, you can copy to another disk.
To recover: a) You can copy back to original location or b) "CATALOG" the backup pieces to be recognized by rman.
