Listener problem....

Hi,

I have problem with the ;ostener. The cleint connects to the DB few times successfully than there is a message: Target host or object does not exists and the client fails to connect to the DB. When the lsnrctl process is started there is one service handler, and afterwards when the client fails to connecft there are 3 service handlers.

What should i do to prevent this? and where can i find patch for Oracle 8.1.5?

hi sir..
do you have multi threaded server active on your db?
If so, check the number of server and/or dispatcher...if to low
