How many archive logs do you have? Do you have the online redo logs? Have you done any research into recovery techniques? You should be able to recreate the control files, but you need redo to being the database to a consistent state.

Unless the .dbf files are from a cold backup, you don't have a database. It might be time to start over. Only this time look into having the databases in archive log mode and find a script for doing Hot RMAN backups. Then test backing up the database and doing restores of the database. Until you practice the recovery, you will never be certain that the backup is any good.
