Question Turn on archivelog in RAC

Hi, We are new with the RAC technology and ASM. We have a database on ASM on 2 instances and the database is in noarchivelog. We would like to turn ON archivelog. Is the procedure the same as non RAC ? Anything different with switching modes with ASM and RAC ? Thank you.

It is the same command. Each instance will have archive logs generated. So you will want to update the spfile to put the same destination for archive logs from both instances.

You may need to switch DB to non clustered mode
One, who thinks that the other one who thinks that know and does not know, does not know either!
