How to set display variable in solaris 10
Hi Experts,
How to set display variable on solaris, Am trying to install oracle on the solaris server connecting through telnet. I tried the following steps but problem not resolved
# DISPLAY="`who -m | cut -f2 -d'(' | cut -f1 -d')'`:0.0"
# export DISPLAY
# echo $DISPLAY
10.249.0.192:0.0
# xhost +
xhost: not found
# xclock
xclock: not found
Please get me out from this problem

I do not think the problem is with setting DISPLAY but with the PATH... message implies that xhost command can't be found.
If I remember it right xhost should be located at /usr/openwin/bin - please double-check - then be sure such path is part of your PATH.
