Time to transfer archive log to standby

How to set the time of transferring archive logs from primary db to standby db?
Which parameter is to be set?

    Thanks,

If you are looking to force the log switch after a specified amount of time to minimize the data loss in care of disaster please click here.

Could you instead be talking about setting a delay time for how long to wait to apply archive logs to a dataguard standby? If so you can use grid to set that time to whatever you want. Just look for the prod database in gris go into availability and configure and there is a screen where you can set the delay. It should still ship the log file immediately, it will wait as long as you want before applying the archive log though.
