Error in datafile of sysaux tablespace

    Dear All,

I am able to open database successfully. There is no error message in alertlog file also.

But when I tried to create new table from existing one or try to take EXP of database, getting below error :

ORA-00376: file 3 cannot be read at this time
    ORA-01110: data file 3: '/sdb/u01/app/oradata/orcl/sysaux01.dbf'

    Thanks in advance,

    Nirav

Please check on v$datafile the status of datafile '/sdb/u01/app/oradata/orcl/sysaux01.dbf' and post back.

curious to know, why would a datafile for your sysaux table be offline?

A failed, scripted backup process may have caused it.
