    DR Server - switch over

    Dear All,

We have SAP on oracle 10.

We are into precess of DR implimnetation using Oracle Standby Server.

Is it possible that if my production goes down, after activating standby database users are automaticaly switch to DR Server.

    Thanks in advance,

    Nirav

    Yes. Here is one solution.

listener.ora file should already have entries for PRIMARY and SECONDARY databases - during failover procedure point application servers to SECONDARY instead of PRIMARY and reboot application servers.
