I am trying to understand why I can't develop my components using the WEBDB user, and make another user called WEBDB_MONITOR, who can access and see the other's components.

I want a user which can make stuff, and a user which can view it (which people will log in with).

I guess WEBDB is the admin and shouldn't be used for development... except perhaps shared LOVs, etc). So maybe I make a developer and a user...

I am just wondering why make a new site. How does that work differently from just having users with roles?


The docs don't really explain this... can you recommend a good tutorial?
