    cluvfy failing

I am installing RAC 11gR2 on windows. But the pre-installation check is falining.

On one node I could run the cluvfy.bat to check the pre-installation checks. But on another node the cluvfy itself is not getting onvoked.

It prompts me to set CV_JDKHOME. I set the env as below:

    set CV_JDKHOME==C:\Program Files (x86)\Java

    C:\CVU\bin>cluvfy.bat stage -pre cfs -n PDFPGISORPRD1,PDFPGISORPRD2 -verbose
Files was unexpected at this time.

Can anyone let me know why this error is occuring?

Is OS version / SP levels are same on both the nodes?

What is the error message after setting CV_JDKHOME variable?

    Thanks,

    C:\CVU\bin>cluvfy.bat stage -pre cfs -n PDFPGISORPRD1,PDFPGISORPRD2 -verbose
Files was unexpected at this time.

    Thanks...

Is the variable value same in other node? May be you need to set the value in "Environment Variables" section instead of setting it using SET command.

    Thanks,
    Vijay Tummala

May be this can help. This is excerpt from meta link note CLUSTER VERIFICATION UTILITY FAQ

Can CVU fix something in the system?
Yes, CVU supports the functionality of fixing up several system parameters that do not meet the requirements. Wherever applicable, the argument '-fixup' can be specified in command line to request generation of fixup scripts. When this argument is specified, CVU auto generates fixup scripts containing appropriate values for those parameters that need to be fixed and their fix is supported by CVU. Instructions are provided at the end of cluvfy command execution results to execute the mentioned fixup script under root privileges.
    Thanks,
    Vijay Tummala
