HELP PLEASE!! RDF to REP

I am having difficulty with an RDF to REP conversion.

I am using ORACLE reports Builder 10g

I connect and login to the DB.

I then open an existing .RDF file to make some slight ammendments to the way in which it is displayed when run.

I identified the areas I do not want, and simply put in a " return (FALSE)" statement.

I compile the report and save

If I then run the "RDF paper layout", in reports builder, It seems to display without a problem, and all other areas of the report are unaffected and pulling the expected detail from the the DB as well as displaying it successfully.

If I then go to FILE > EXPORT and generate an REP file, and then try to run the report from ORACLE forms to generate a PDF, all the changes I have made are displpayed correctly, however one section is showing blank, where it should be displaying the expected contents from the DB accordingly.

I have also tried to generate the REP through TOOLS > FILE CONVERSION as well but it makes no difference.

Can anyone help, this is becoming quite frustrating? PLEASE!!!
