    version control software allowing me to compare different version of Oracle Reports?

    Hi, I wonder if anyone here use version control software to manage versions of Oracle Reports file (*.rdf) and it can show the difference between different version?

    IIRC,
    Forms - fmb, fmt, fmx
    Menus - mmb, mmt, mmx
    Reports - rep and rdf

    Short of version control, running strings against files on UNIX is a quick and dirty way of diff-ing the files. You don't get a text version like forms and menus had/have.
