    Question Automatic Shared Memory Questions

I had an oltp database where the total SGA=2G. 500M for shared pool, 1000M for db_cache, 500M for the rest of the buffers. I turned on ASM and set the SGA_Target to 2G as before. How does oracle manage the percentage of the buffer pool vs shared pool and the rest of the pools. ?
