Mrs.

I bought an HP notebook with the following configuration:
Model Pavilion DV6 I7 4GB ram 500GB hd.
The windows that have already been installed is the Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit).

Downloaded from Oracle's website 10g2040 Oracle for Windows 64. And even after several attempts and research, I could not install because it is not compatible with this version of the OS.
And it is not approved by Oracle (the S.O.).
So I downloaded the 32-bit version (10g2030) for windows.
I had to make a change in the setup file because it does not recognize the OS version 7. Thing else is easy and fast. (See website below)
I lowered the d oracle oracle site and installed it on 11g2 also note (64 bits). However the TOAD does not recognize the Oracle Client
Both bases are in the SGA for the lower size to 256 MB
I installed last night (again) the TOAD. The TOAD in 10g2 worked with 32 bits.
I changed (10g2) the TNSNAMES.ORA file of ORACLE_HOME/network/ admin to contain entries Base 11g2.
And I'm so active now with two bases in the notebook.

Below are links to downloads of oracle.

Changes to be made on the installation file of both versions of ORCLE (V11 and V10)
