Resizing / Recreating Online Redo Log Files

    Hi All,

I have RAC DB running with DG and I need to resize my redo logs files, below are the steps I am thinking:

    1. switch the log file couple times and be sure the log group I want to drop is INACTIVE.
    2. Drop the INACTIVE log group.
    3. create new log group with bigger size.
    4. Repeat step 1-3 for the rest log group.

Does it sound right? Also, I have Dataguard and I am on 10G, I wonder what I need to do for the DG DB? Anything I have to watch out?

    Thanks,

It looks like a plan to me provided storage is not ASM.
