    Error in standby database

    Hi,
    I am using oracle 10g solaris 10.2. I want to create standby database on the node other
    than the primary. I copied the backup sets everything is working fine but it says that Some
    file have not been backed up. Although listing backup says that it is already backed up on
    RMAN>LIST BACKUP;
    Pls reply

    Regards
    Sandeep

    Can you describe the steps you took to setup standby? Did you create standby controlfile from primary to be used in standby?. You may be missing a step.

    we can't guess what is that "Some" and what is the error. Please post the complete error message along with the steps you followed to build a standby.

    Thanks,
