    Exclamation STANDBY Database log difference from Primary Datbase

    Hi All,

    My Standby database was running fine. After PROD (Primary) database was bounced, the log difference increased(Gap was 35). Yesterday I managed to send the Production archive logs and register with standby and then the log gap became 5. Today morning I found the log gap is 40.The PROD database is not sending the log file to standby (acrhive location).
    Please help me to troubleshoot this.

    Database: Oracle 10.2.0.4.0
    OS: RHEL 5

    Are you using DG Broker?. If yes check if the configuration is disabled.

    If no DG Broker then check if the log_archive_dest for the standby location is not DEFERRED.
