    What is the exact difference between multimaster replication and advance replication in Oracle 9i.

    As per my knowlodge, multimaster replication is nothing but advanced replication.

    Advanced Replication supports the following types of replication environments:

    1) Multimaster Replication
    2) Materialized View Replication
    3) Multimaster and Materialized View Hybrid Configurations

    Multimaster Replication is one of the three types of replication supported by "advance replication".
