    Installing Oracle 10G on Windows Cluster

    Dear

    Please be advised the best way to install the Oracle 10g on 2 node windows Cluster.

    I am using IBM Blade Centre S Series with HS22 Blades and OS is Windows 2003 Enterprise Server (R2) with Cluster.

    Now please suggest the best way to install oracle on windows cluster as i dont want to use oracle RAC.

    Waiting for the early reply.

    just follow the installation guide and install it normally then

    read the install guide - it's all in there

    if you have never installed oracle before, ask your DBA for help

    i believe windows cluster alone is not able to failover the Oracle database in case of any failures. you need to look into using "Oracle Fail Safe" on top of windows cluster.
