    Question Standby database without Flash_Recovery_area

    Hi Guys

I have Oracle 11g RAC database with 2 nodes in production. Flash_Recovery_Area is enabled.

I want to create a standby database with Data Guard, but want to disable Flash_Recovery_area in the standby database. Is this allowed? Can somebody send me procedure or URL for this?

    Regards

    Cool Yes it's allowed

Yes it's allowed, just set DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST_SIZE = 0 and make sure no destination parameters point to the DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST directory.
