    can we do import like

    Hi all,

    i have yesterday export of full database 9i , but our one of user wants the only particular table (data as well as strcuture of table) as it was yesterday . my question is can i do import of particular table from full exported database file. quick response will be higly appreciated. thanks in advance

    Yes you can import just one table (or selection of tables) from the full export.

    Example taken from quick google importing tables dept and emp from the SCOTT schema

    imp SYSTEM/password FIlE=dba.dmp FROMUSER=scott TABLES=(dept,emp)

    You can do a fromuser/touser import specifyng desired tables.
    Be sure target table is empty.
    Be sure to include parameter ignore=y
    You may also want to check if there are referential integrity constraints affecting target table
