10.2.04 - Different explain plan

Hi all,

I have 2 10gR2 databases running on two identical servers (both db have same set of init parameters) but when I run a long running query on both of them, each of the server has different explain plan? I'm not sure what's causing this? Both have stats regenerated. Please advise. Thanks

becuase everything isnt the same - you need to worj out what is different (start with the stats)

Export the stats from one DB SERVER and import them to other DB on otner server, so that you can have a good chance of having same explain plans.

Are those tables contain also same data?
