    RMAN Connectivity Issue

    Hi,

    One of my Database is throwing error when trying to connect to RMAN. I have configured RMAN a month back and it was running well with out any issues since that time. Nothing has been changed in the environment.

    Here is the error message.

    Recovery Manager: Release 10.2.0.3.0 - Production on Tue Oct 27 08:59:05 2009

    RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
    RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
    RMAN-00554: initialization of internal recovery manager package failed
    RMAN-04005: error from target database:
    ORA-01031: insufficient privileges
    OS is Windowz and Oracle version is 10.2.0.3

    I am trying to find some thing in metalink or google. I appreciate your suggestions.

    is the OS account member of ORA_DBA group?And also Check sqlnet.ora if it is set as SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES=NONE then change it to NTS.
    OR
    rman target sys/xxxx
