In Oracle training material I read
"RMAN can't backup online redo logfiles".
But in other chapterof same material I read
"At the begining of BACKUP ...ARCHIVE..Command an automatic swith will happens and current online redo will archived and the backup happens".
If RMAN wont backup current online redo then what does the second statemsnt mean...?
Can some one clear me this doubt...?
it means it archives it - kinda like it says
you do know the difference between archive and backup dont you?
But there it is mentioned at the beginning. Is it like first archived and then backuped up....?
doesnt say that at all, says the file is archived and then the backup starts
