    Oracle 32 bit on 64 bit OS ...

    Hi,

    Thou Oracle not recommand, Is there any harm if I install Oracle 10.2.0.1 32 bit on Windows 2003 SP2 64bit? One of my application specifically need 32 bit RDBMS so I am trying to figure out pros and cons.

    on some OS's it wont even install

    dont know if windows is one of them

    why not just install a 32Bit OS?

    Yes, I still have that option but don't want to disturb the existing Windows & Cluster configuration.

    I am able to install Oracle 32bit and created the databased. I crossed my fingers to see how it works after application installed and start UAT.
