    dblink_encrypt_login

    Hi,

    I know that dblink_encrypt_login is deprecated in 9i. What is the replacement for it? Are we saying that the link is encrypted by default now? Just need some clarification. Too many mix answers from the internet.

    Oracle automatically encrypts authetication data over DBlinks; that's why parameter was deprecated from 9i forward.
