How to verify if system stats were collected
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to check and verify if the following were run successfully in a database.
execute dbms_stats.gather_system_stats;
execute dbms_stats.gather_dictionary_stats;
execute dbms_stats.gather_fixed_objects_stats;
Oracle -10.2.0.2
Appreciate your help
Regards
Jay

There are no logs. The commands were executed a couple of weeks ago. I need to ensure if it was really run and if it was successfull.
Thanks

First of all, those commands are executed everyday at 10:00 PM and 6:00AM as default. If you change that period, you can check the values on dictionary statistics views start with dba#, all# or user#. For this comparison, you must have the older values which were gotten before those commands were executed.
By the way, why do you have doubts for those commands?

Try querying DBA_OPTSTAT_OPERATIONS
