Query showing tables/sequences
Can someone please help me with a query that can show all the tables & associated sequences within the same schema in an Oracle database?
Hi Divro -
I believe we don't have any views available to query the tables and associated sequences.
The way i look is if the sequences are created with common naming method like TABLENAME_SEQ with that we can identify for which table that particular sequence is created.
Try hard to get what you like OR you will be forced to like what you get.
All i'm trying to see is all the tables & sequences within the same query...

This is the time when you should go to your design documentation and check the usage of each Sequence.
