    How to turn on trace for the entire DB for a short period of time (9i)

    Hi all,

    My application is in MTS mode, I'm wondering if there's away to trace the entire db in a short period of time (similar to '10046' for individual session). If you know a way, please advise. Thanks

    Why you want to take trace of all sessions, any specific reason?

    You using MTS, Did you see statspack report to verify Performance issues?

    I'd like to findout which tables get updated/modified. Maybe there is another better way?
