Error "Skipped (unsupported datatype)" with NVARCHAR2

    Hi

I am writing to enquire about OWB 10g (Repository & Client also is 10.1.0.4.0).

When I try to import a table from a database into the repository, an error (Skipped (unsuppoted datatype)) is occurred in the Import Results. Enclosed, please find my process of the import table to review my situation.

I look forward to receive your solutions.

Remarks: My database is using Oracle10g 10.1.0.4.0.

    Cheers,
    Gary

nvarchar2 is an unsupported datatype for OWB, you will have to change to another one

    Hi

Thank for you reply. I have data which need to be transfered from MSSQL 2005 to Oracle 10g database. The data is storing with double-byte (i.e. chinese characters or other language characters). Therefore, I use nvarchar2 to store data.

I hope I can know further detail about this kind of unsupported datatype. And, I would like to get the alternatives with examples from you.

I look forward to receive your reply.

    Cheers,
    Gary
