I am working as DBA with over 4 yrs of experience, planing to sit for the OCP, now what.
I would like to know how i should work with myself for a better future. What specific skills a DBA ought to know in this internet age as far as Oracle database is concerned.
Can somebody in the room please explain.

As far as the OCP part of your question goes, there is an entire forum here dedicated to this subject. The folks there have many good recommendations as to study materials. You might be able to sit for the tests and pass them based on your experience, but the tests are rather persnickity and cover some areas you might not have used like RMAN and CMAN. They specialize in trick questions, some very poorly worded questions, and minutiae, so I would recommend the study materials to bring you into that particular modus operandi. I bought the big study book by Jason Couchman, cost me $100 and serves the purpose fairly well. It's also about the cheapest way to go.
