SGA size
I have 10203 database on windows and i started the instance with 100m sga
will that be a problem?because for 10gR2 miniumn is 1gb of memory needs to be allocated ,so my question is will the instance get crashed because of inadequte memory allocated or any other problem. Please let me know.
Thanks in advance

because for 10gR2 minimum is 1gb of memory needs to be allocated
1G of memory is on server not for SGA. You need to explicitly allocate the memory to the SGA components or you can use SGA_TARGET parameter to automate the memory pools allocation except log buffer.

Try hard to get what you like OR you will be forced to like what you get.

by the way
:if you OS version is 32bit, your memory must less than 1.7G. you can use
SGA_MAX parameter for your increase of data.
thanks!

Have at least a gig for Oracle though it might work with little lesser. But i see your system a lot & lot vulnerable with 100m.
