oracle version doubt plz?

select * from v$version;
it shows

Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 9.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production

for oracle server in our office.

but some of our people say it is oracle 10G ONLY but
release version is 9.2.0.1.0 ??
is it right?
If so why it is showing 9.2.0.1.0.

for oracle 10g what relese it will show??
