query from dba_tab_privs where grantee='PUBLIC' and privilege='EXECUTE' and identify what are the "powerful packages".

    Question

    Dear Vijay,

When I trying to check dba_tab_priv i got following

    SQL> select count(*) from dba_tab_privs where grantee='PUBLIC' and privilege='EXECUTE';

    COUNT(*)
    ----------
    19159

    ex:
    GRANTEE OWNER
    ------------------------------ -----
    TABLE_NAME
    ------------------------------
    PUBLIC SYS
    /de7ce975_JComponentIntVector

    PUBLIC SYS
    /ee702bf1_JComponentKeyboardSt

    PUBLIC SYS

Revoke the EXECUTE privilege from PUBLIC for the following packages.

    UTL_FILE
    UTL_SMTP
    UTL_TCP
    UTL_HTTP
    DBMS_RANDOM

still OEM shows the policy violation then follow this link ...
