    wait event information and total wait time

    I would like to get a report like following for 24 hours ..... from which all tables I should query? any sample query will be appreciated.

    Sysdate Event Name Count Total Time Avg t
    ------- --------------------------- ------------- ------------- ----- db file sequential read 3922555 4080462 1.04
    enqueue 1753527 2964506 1.69
    buffer busy waits 1164609 305395 .26

    Try this...
    Code:
    select  * 
    from    v$system_event 
    where   event like '%wait%'
    ;
    To get 24 hours snapshots you may want to create a monitoring table with the same structure and schedule a daily job to get up-to-date totals then you can query the table and get values for a day, week or whatever you want to analyze.
