    Output TAG

    Hello,

    Please help me with the following problem:

    I wish to have Incremental level 0 with the default output format (tag) as specified from
    RMAN> CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK CONNECT
    'system/manager' FORMAT '/oracle_backup_mindses1/SMS_ora_%T_%s_%p';

    BUT the incrementa level 1 to have an output format with a DIFF at the beginning and to the same path.

    Thanks
    Mimas

    I want that because I need to copy the weekly full backup after the first Differential because of disk space.
    then I will leave the Differential for a week to take backup.

    You could ALLOCATE the channel specifically prior to your backup command and specify the FORMAT.
