Location, The Loop (Downtown Chicago)
MS SQL SERVER (25%)
• Maintain and support two MS SQL Server 2000 boxes (iMIS and Solomon)
• Review and apply system patches as needed
• Develop system response measurements and improvements
• Develop and maintain nightly maintenance scripts
• Ensure high availability, security, and integrity of databases
iMIS (40%)
• Develop and maintain iMIS reports using Crystal Reports
• Maintain and modify iMIS DB import/export procedures with external data sources
• Become the lead internal expert on iMIS
• Stay up to date on new modules and products for iMIS
• Maintain, modify and test disaster recover procedures for iMIS
• Responsible for the data integrity of the production and the test databases
• Support end user iMIS clients
• Develop and implement client customizations as needed
• Responsible for subscription EOY maintenance procedures
• Work closely with our iMIS partner on projects and upgrades
• Work with manager to identify and schedule iMIS training for staff
• Interact with iMIS Administrator to ensure policies and procedures are followed
SOLOMON (20%)
• Become the lead internal expert on Solomon
• Maintain, modify and test Disaster Recovery Procedure for Solomon
• Support Solomon client, FRx, Report Designer and other end-user modules
E-SERIES WEBSITE (MEMBER CENTER) (5%)
• Responsible for the Member Center home page
• Responsible for the support of the iMIS E-Series modules
OTHER (10%)
• Assist with end user PC Desktop and Laptop hardware and software support
• Manage the off-site Tape Storage process
• Domain, Server, and PC break and fix backup
• Maintain professional working relationships inside and outside
• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 3 years experience with MS SQL
• Minimum 5 years experience with Windows NT+ Operating Systems
• Microsoft Certification (MCDBA preferred) strongly desired
• Previous experience with iMIS a big plus
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
• Ability to handle multiple projects
• Ability to work well with internal staff and external vendors
• Detail oriented
• Willingness to learn and find new solutions
