    Please suggest some thing,
How to avoid / prevent. Now its regular on alternate nights.

I usually drops index and recreate them. it's my production database, last time i have set DB_BLOCK_CHECKING=LOW, and then my sysaux.dbf file goes for a toss.

Please suggest, as it is my production server i cant face so many downtimes
