    migration

    Dear all,

    Is it possible to migrate MySQL Database to Oracle 10G/11, (How?),
    i have more then 70million records, and it takes 15-20 minutes for report from single table. do i get performance improvement on using Oracle 10/11.

    It all depends on the quality of your design and on the quality of your queries.

    I have to say is a very unusual performance-improvement strategy the one you are suggesting... why don't try to get more juice out of your current RDBMS?
